Symbolism
White, scarlet, and blue, plus the configuration of the shield represent the parent command, Army Materiel Command. The sword symbolizes protecting the Homeland and the constant state of readiness. The three stars represent the Army’s transformed contracting structure “Army Contracting Command, Expeditionary Contracting Command, and Mission Installation Command.” The stretched out golden wings allude to protection and the type of care the unit is charged to provide in support of contingency operations. The olive branch and sword signify the war and peace mission of support.

Background
