The Kfir Brigade is the youngest and largest brigade in the Israel Defense Forces.
The Kfir Brigade also known as the 900th Brigade is one of the youngest and the largest Infantry Corps brigade in the IDF.
The brigade was established in 2005 out of a collection of battalions - Nachshon, Shimshon, Haruv, Duchifat, Lavi and Netzah Yehuda. The Kfir Brigade specializes in anti-terror fighting and combats in urban areas.
