Reversible suit 6ш122 (6sh122)

Mainīt informāciju
This suit was developed after the introduction of the VKBO pattern uniforms and follows a similar design to the older KMLK and KSZ suits, which is to say, it's an external, loose fitting layer that goes over the main clothing of the user, with the purpose to offer a camouflage covering. This idea, very prevalent during the soviet period, was somewhat abandoned by the military after the soviet disintegration. The return to this pattern seems to follow feedback from the commercial market (complains about the practicality of ACU style uniforms and abundant commercial production of KMLK style suits, particularly by russian manufacturers).

This suit is made in the new generation of digital camouflages employed by the russian military: эмр. One side displays the spring variant, and the other side displays the autumn variant.

The jacket is cut like a gymnastyorka (with only a partial opening that goes down to the buttom of the chest) and includes a hood with a mesh ventilation slit, with option to attach a mesh camouflage net for the face. Jacket also includes two small pockets in the lower front side. There are loops placed on the shoulders and on the hood to allow attachment of vegetation or mimetic material. Under the armpits, metal grommets for ventilation can be found.
Trousers have elasticated waist and ankles, and they include a set of elastic suspenders to fit under the jacket. Trousers have two back pockets and two lateral slits design to access inner layer's pockets.

The material this suit is made of is very tough material (maybe in an attempt to solve durability issues reported with older KZS), somewhat waterproof. However, this material's poor breathability make it a potentially uncomfortable choice for field operations, particularly in hot weathers (like Syria, where it has been reported in use by russian forces).

This oversuit is supplied with a transport bag with a back loop for attackment to belt or webbing elements.

This suit entered service in 2015 and is still in use as part of the ратник (Ratnik, "warrior") equipment suite.
